Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF)
The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund encourages and invests in clean energy sources to help the Connecticut ratepayers.

Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)
The DEP regulates, monitors, inspects and enforces, the laws and procedures that govern pollution in order to protect health, safety, welfare and natural resources. DEP also directs the state's environmental plans, functions and educational programs.

 

Connecticut Siting Council (CSC)
The CSC regulates the siting associated with Connecticut’s power facilities, transmission lines, hazardous waste facilities and telecommunication sites.

 

Office of Policy Management (OPM)

OPM undertakes the planning and analysis for the state in the areas of budgeting, management, planning, energy policy determination and evaluation, intergovernmental policy, criminal and juvenile justice planning and program evaluation.

 

Department of Public Utility Control (DPUC)

The DPUC regulates the rates of Connecticut’s investor owned utility companies.

 

Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD)

The DECD develops policy, strategy and programs that are designed to improve communities, businesses and housing environment.

National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL)
NREL is the national leader for renewable energy and energy efficiency research and development.

 

U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)

The DOE seeks to increase domestic energy production, improve our approach to energy conservation and efficiency and promote the development of renewable and alternative energy sources. Subsections of the DOE include:
